MINNESOTA STATE EAGLES BOWLING TOURNAMENT
1. All bids for the bowling tournament will include the following:
2.  A Letter from the bowling establishment and signed by the manager stating the cost of three lines of 
    bowling, number of lanes available and hours lanes will be availble.
3.  A letter from the Aerie confirming the bid and signed by the Aerie Secretary and Worthy President,
     along with the tournament managers name, address and phone number.
4. Tournament dates  (prefer the last two weekends in Feb. and first two weekends in March), with a 
     extra weekend if house has less than 16 lanes.
5.  Tournament maybe split between 2 bowling establishments.
6.  Tournament will be sanctioned by the USBC and bowlers must have a paid up
      USBC card and Eagles card.
7. Bowl Doubles & Singles Only once,  Bowl Team more than once with a change of three people. If you
      bowl singles you must bowl doubles and vice versa.
8. Scratch will be 210 - 90% Hdcp.
9.  All submitted averages will be checked against your U.S.B.C. card average.
10.  Entry Fee set by the State Eagles Athletic Committee.
11. Complete Rules on entry blanks and Official Poster.
12. Tournament Mgr. and his committee to settle all disputes.
13. The Tournament Mgr. will pay the bowling lanes each week.
14. Prize money will be returned on a 1 to 4 basis, 1 to 10 for all events.
15. The Athletic Committee will pay $100.00 for every 300 game.
16. The Tournament Mgr. Will send all entries, score sheets, prize and expense
       money to the Athletic Sec. Within 30 days of completion of the event.
       In return the Athletic Sec. Will issue a expense check to the Aerie along
       with a check to the Tournament Mgr. for his fees.
Bowling Rules
1. All bowlers must have a paid up Minnesota State Eagles receipt.
2. All bowlers must have a paid up USBC card.
3. Non USBC members may participate in a moral support sanctioned tournament with Award recognition, 
by purchasing an affiliate membership card before participation.
4. Bowlers will use their highest last year average based on a minimum of 21 games. If no average for last year, you may
use the previous years. If they don’t have either, use their current league average based on 21 games. 
If none of the above, you will bowl scratch (210).
5. Scratch will be 210 – 90% hdcp.
6. Submitted average will be checked against your USBC card.
7. Average corrections can be made up to the end of the 1st game.
8. Each bowler is responsible for verifying his own average.
9. USBC rule 319-A (the 10 pin rule) WILL apply, and rule 319-E (the re-rating rule) WILL apply.
10. All USBC rules will be observed.
11. You may bowl team event more than once with a change of 3 bowlers. 
The bowler’s 1st team event score will be used for his “all event” score
12. Bowl doubles and singles only once, and you must bowl both.
13. The team event will be bowled on the same pair of lanes.
14. Doubles and Singles will flip-flop lanes.
15. We reserve the right to extend the tournament one week-end in case of inclement weather.
16. To hold reservations, they must be paid in full one week prior to the start of the tournament.
17. Substitutes will bowl in the line up position of the bowlers being replaced.
18. Check in time is 45 minutes before the staring time. All late bowlers will receive a zero for all frames missed.
19. Prize fees returned, 100% - Pay off, 1 for 4 entries,1 to 10 for all events.
